Jeff Riggenbach, PhD, LPC, is a speaker, author, & clinician licensed in the state of Oklahoma. He currently serves as the director of outpatient services at Brookhaven Hospital in Tulsa where he oversees Mood and Anxieity Disorder Programs and their Borderline Personality Disorder Treatment Program; and he is president of the CBT Institute of Oklahoma. Dr. Riggenbach has devoted the last 15 years of his career to studying, researching, practicing & teaching cognitive behavioral based treatments and has developed specific expertise in assessment & treatment of personality dysfunction. An award-winning author, he delivers training on the topics of cognitive therapy, personality functioning, and dealing with high-conflict personalities. He has spoken in all 50 states in the U.S., several countries around the world, and is on faculty of educational institutes in Canada, Australia, and South Africa.
Dr. Riggenbach trained at the Beck Institute of Cognitive Therapy and Research in Philadelphia, and is a Diplomate of the Academy of Cognitive Therapy. He has served as site director for one of the largest clinical trials in the world for borderline personality disorder and has delivered or provided oversight of the treatment of 500+ patients with borderline personality disorder. He has a reputation for bridging the gap between academia, research findings, and everyday clinical practice. He also serves as a director of the Personality Disorders Awareness Network.
